Caprice & Ella 706 | Terms of Enragement: Preston Pointe Your Luck to Newburyport Apartments (Part 6/Conclusion)

The concluding episode of the miniseries begins as a heavily intoxicated Ava, after consuming multiple alcoholic beverages following a tough and brutal Spanish 111 test at Purdue Fort Wayne. The episode opens with Ava repeatedly calling out to Ella, who seems to be preoccupied as she has trouble adjusting after the move three weeks earlier. Ava, clearly drunk, mentions that she took a difficult Spanish 111 test and didn't perform well. She admits to having had two Long Island Iced Teas with a shot of vodka, totaling eleven drinks.

Ella confronts Ava about her drunken state, stating bluntly that Ava is extremely drunk. Ava acknowledges this, calling out to Caprice. However, Caprice reacts aggressively, telling Ava to stay away and threatens to attack if Ava touches her. Despite Caprice's warnings, Ava continues to interact with her, leading to more hostile exchanges between Ava and Caprice.

Background noise of the television shows like "ABC World News Tonight with David Muir," "21Alive News at 7 with Amir Abass," and "Entertainment Tonight" adds to the chaotic atmosphere. Caprice and Ella both express their frustration and concern over Ava's drunken behavior. Ella humorously humps Ava's arm, indicating a playful yet exasperated reaction to the situation.

The scene shifts to family matters, with Ava mentioning Ashli's desire to be a surrogate mother for a gay couple. Breeanna expresses her determination to love and raise the baby that would be their grandchild, despite the challenges. Ava reflects on her inability to control Ashli's decisions (even though Ava is Ashli's adopted father), knowing that Ashli (as well as Tabitha, Baby Kenny, Sierra, Lyssa, Leeland, and Jessica) would likely do the opposite of what she's told.

Caprice, still agitated from the previous scene, talks about how Sierra, Lyssa, Leeland, and Jessica as well as Alisan, Michael I, Leah, Elian, Pia, and Christina play with Caprice's tail like a toy, leading her to hiss and attack as much as Lux from Oregon. Ashli defends herself, stating that she is taking care of herself and not relying on family or others. Tabitha chimes in, asserting that she is the one taking care of the family, not the other way around. Tabitha mentions that Ava and Lindsay are fighting, and Ava isn't taking her medication properly due to her unstable, erratic schedule and alcoholic drinking habits. Tabitha reveals that she didn't want to come home yet she felt compelled to because the family is falling apart.

Caprice agrees with Tabitha while at the same time accuses Tabitha of being selfish. Ava intervenes and reminds her that Tabitha and Ashli are respectively Ava's daughter and adopted daughter with her first wife Angie Nieves. Ashli asserts that she doesn't need the stress and doesn't live with Ava, Caprice, and Ella nor with Breeanna, Sierra, Lyssa, Leeland, and Jessica. Ava offers to support Tabitha's claim that she came home to take care of the family, but Tabitha insists that it is the truth.

The conversation shifts to past events, with Ava questioning Tabitha about why she ran away in 2018. Tabitha reveals to Ava that she ran away in 2018 because of the constant fighting between Ava and Elisa in addition to revealing that she also eloped and had a baby (Elian) with Elaine Yasbecky. Ava tells Tabitha that she just wants her to have a happy life, and the scene ends with Ava stating she will be on the front porch waiting for her pain pills and smoking a cigarette.

Meanwhile, Ashli gets a phone call from Baby Kenny, who ran away from Fort Wayne and eloped with his girlfriend, Janessa Conner–unusual for a nine-year-old child and common for a handful of 14-year-old children. Baby Kenny reveals he and Janessa are at the Greyhound bus terminal in Detroit, Michigan. Ava is shocked to learn that Kenny is in Detroit and even more surprised when Ava finds out that Baby Kenny (at 9 years old) he got Janessa pregnant (with Ava's seventh grandchild). Kenny drops the phone, and Ava tries to reach him, expressing her frustration and concern.

Kenny eventually calls Ava back and tells Ava that he and Janessa found a place and a chaperone in Detroit. Baby Kenny and Janessa need to come home to pick up the rest of Kenny's belongings. Ava agrees but sets some ground rules from Baby Kenny, including no yelling and no eloping. Baby Kenny insists that he loves Janessa and that it was her idea to relocate to Detroit.

Ava's attempts to maintain control and offer support are met with resistance and frustration from her children. The interactions reveal deep-seated issues and a lack of communication, exacerbated by Ava's drunken state and the chaotic environment.

As the miniseries ends, Ava reflects on the past two years since moving from Black Pine Flats to Golfview Apartments. Ava, Rachael, Janice, Karly, Caprice, and Ella reminisce about the various challenges and events the family has faced, including natural disasters, personal losses, and conflicts, as well as references of Queen of the Willis, The Souzas, and Quillsville Cold Case. The dialogue reveals a history of struggles, including Ava's reprimand for inappropriate and lewd behavior as Ava and Breeanna made out in front of an IvyTech professor via Zoom as well as making out in front of Caprice and Ella and in the women's restroom in a Penn Station East Coast on Stellhorn Road, Quincy Newspapers (and later Gray Television) bought 21Alive (and briefly rebranded to ABC21) in 2016, CIM Living bought what is now Black Pine Flats in 2022, moving to Golfview Apartments that became twenty-one months of Hell for Ava before finally moving to Waterloo Gardens, Breeanna throwing a punch at a property manager at Preston Pointe at the Inverness after Ava was denied there due to her insufficient income, Ava's application at Newburyport Apartments being denied due to a 549 credit score, being denied housing at Villa Capri Apartments due to being a full-time student at Purdue Fort Wayne, Ava's ex-girlfriend Elisa committing bank robbery in Muncie to pay for Ava's expenses in 2018, Caprice hissing at two property managers (Rebecca Fielitz and Tara Fike) and two maintence guys (Brnadon Howell and an unidentified) a combined 3,500+ times over a two-year period, Ella barking and growling at the aforementioned Brandon Howell sixty-nine times and justifiable humped his leg three times, Ava getting six lease violations at Golfview for the way she smoke cigarettes and her habits, taking outdoor security cameras down that sealed Golfview's fate. Rachael also reveals the deaths of Ava's children Thomas in November 2006, Sheryl in May 2009, Samantha in November 2020, and Tiffani in August 2021, and Ava's difficulties of finding stable housing that ended up taking two years.

The episode concludes with a Top Cops-style narration by Rachael, summarizing the events and challenges faced in "Breaking Boiling Point 3: Stand Against Furious Fear" and this miniseries: Breeanna's legal issues after beating up a property manager, Ava's housing search, and the impact of these events on Ava's academic performance are highlighted.

The episode ends on a somber note, reflecting on the family's resilience and the ongoing challenges they face.
